- Be a member of the thick film R&D team
- Manage and drive R&D projects related to products and innovative process equipment
- Characterize and optimize materials and processes such as coatings, metal/glass pastes and sputtered metal films
- Optimize new products for costs and productivity (design for manufacturing)
- Lead cross functional project teams consisting of R&D, production, process engineering, quality, marketing and external partners
Address problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Document and present the project status in milestone meetings and monthly reports
- Master grade in technical area (engineering, physics, …) – Ph.D – advantage.
- Experience in development of products and processes from concept to mass production
- Knowledge and academic background regarding resistors’ technologies and electronic applications
- Knowledge and experience with statistical methods and tools (Minitab, Jump)
- Knowledge and experience with analytic approaches such as DOE, Fishbone, DMAIC and 6-Sigma concept.
- Experience in leading cross functional teams
- Ability to work either independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive and flexible approach to solve upcoming issues
- Excellent English – reading, writing and speaking
